Absolutely not. Unless you ask for the encouragement, this is a no pressure zone.

Then this is the place for you! There are sooooo many things in life to be ambitious about. Cultivating community and friendships, having hobbies, resting, I could go on and on…
And if you want to be ambitious in your career, what if you also got ambitious about work boundaries so you don’t burn out?

I’m working on the timing of the Zoom calls right now. (If you haven’t weighed in, do so here.)
If it turns out that you’re unable to make the time, that stinks and I’m sorry. 🥺In my opinion, the community and new friends you’ll make during this program is the magic sauce.
If you’re unable to make 2 or more of the six Zoom calls, I recommend holding off on signing up.

Good question! Every other week, you’ll get content centered around a theme. It will be a mix of different resources that have been helpful to me.
I encourage you to peruse what’s there and decide what you want to dive into, so how much time you spend is up to you! We’re backsliders, after all. 😉

Not at all. This program is for anyone rethinking ambition/success, not just job-switchers.

Hi friend!
I never thought I’d be starting a club with the word “backsliders” in it, but here I am. I’ve been chasing gold stars - and doing everything I can to escape the poverty (financial & mindset) I grew up in - for as long as I can remember.
I chose the word “backslider” because that’s what we tell each other (and ourselves) when we take our foot off the career gas pedal.
“I’m scared I’ll backslide in my career.”
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard that over the 11 years in my coaching business! Or how many times I’ve said these exact words to myself.

Over the last 4ish years, I've drastically changed how I think and approach my career, business, and ambition. My life is so much better for it. I have more time to spend on exploring my creativity, I've deepened friendships, and I can truly say I feel connected to the "whole me", not just who I thought "career me" should be.
The catalyst: I was working too much, had very little to give to my partner and friends, and could not kick the feeling of "is this what it's going to be like for the next 25 years?" You'd never have known this from the outside. I was laughing, smiling, performing how I needed to perform.
The other catalyst: my best friend became disabled due to the medical complications of Long Covid and career burnout. She lost her career, sense of purpose, and her identity. TBH, I took it as a warning call.
So I did something about it!
I want to share the resources that have helped me get off the WORK > LIFE treadmill and create community with like-minded people ready to explore being ambitious about other things besides what they do for their jobs (even if they really love what they do!).
That's what IBC is all about.
I hope you join us. And please let me know your availability below for the Zoom calls.
Once I have the timing figured out, I’ll send you an email inviting you to sign up!

The Content & What We’ll Explore:
Every other week, you’ll get handpicked content — short readings, podcast episodes, reflection prompts, and practical tools — the same kinds of things I leaned on while redefining success for myself.
The first theme’s content will be available Sept. 25.
This is year 11 of my business. I have coached hundreds of people around their careers, socialized workism, identity and money stuff, and figuring out what they actually want to achieve in their lives and why. So I’ll be leaning on that experience, too.
We’ll dig into the real fears that come up when you consider stepping off the traditional path — things like regret, loss, and what other people will think. You’ll explore the difference between what you truly want versus what you’ve been taught you should want, and practice strategies for navigating finances, family expectations, peer comparison, and judgment.
You’ll also hear real stories from people who’ve chosen to get off the hamster wheel - what pushed them to make a change, how they handled the tradeoffs, and what life looks like now.
Along the way, you’ll be guided to rewrite your own success story with language, values, and priorities that feel like yours - not borrowed from your boss, your parents, or LinkedIn.
And of course, you’ll hear from and learn from other people in the program during our community conversations over Zoom.
